Saxo Bank have unveiled their new rider, Vincent Ploeger. The very experienced 38 year old will be with the team for the rest of this season, and despite his age he could pick up a few results and take us towards division seven.
We hope he finds his feet quickly, and with a strong support group he can get a few results in the mountains.
However, Nogueira has expressed a bit of sadness at no longer being the captain of Saxo Bank II, only getting two results (first and third) while he was captain.

you will have difficulty getting more than what you paid for him. i tried that with an aging captain. hopefully you can get exactly what you paid and win some money though.
I will do that. Once I get out of division seven and win some money with him, I will release him and hopefully get in the end more than I paid for him and buy a young but very good captain
He should give points in 8. But needs a younger captain when you reach 7 and above.
i reckon he will get five or six results. some races are usually emty
Hope you're right but 38 is very old and he's been in the decline for ten seasons now...
